About the campus
The campus occupies the former National Teachers’ College (NTC) Mubende premises and serves as a centre for quality teacher education and professional training in Uganda.
The campus offers a conducive learning environment with renovated and expanded infrastructure supported under the Teacher Training Education Project by ENABEL. Its facilities include modern lecture spaces, administrative offices, student accommodation, and learning resources designed to support higher education and teacher preparation programmes.
As part of UNITE’s multi-campus structure, Mubende Campus contributes to the Institute’s mandate of providing pre-service and in-service teacher education, research, and Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The campus is committed to producing competent, innovative, and professional teachers who can effectively contribute to national development and transformation through education

Mubende Campus
UNITE Mubende Campus is one of the constituent campuses of UNITE, located in Mubende District along the Kampala–Fort Portal Road, approximately 142 kilometres from Kampala City. The campus occupies the former National Teachers’ College (NTC) Mubende premises and serves as a centre for quality teacher education and professional training in Uganda.

The campus library offers a comprehensive collection of academic resources, providing students with access to essential reading materials for their studies and research.
The computer laboratories are open throughout the day, staffed by qualified ICT professionals who are committed to delivering excellent support and customer service.
Well-equipped science laboratories are available for all relevant course units, ensuring students gain practical, hands-on experience in their fields of study. Comfortable hostel accommodation is provided for students who wish to reside on campus, fostering a safe and supportive living environment.
